CHANGE FOR THE EXCHANGE

Yoga Punx PDX believes that by supporting our community, creating brave spaces, the collective can heal. We commit to improving life quality by offering the healing practices of yoga, meditation, sound healing, regenerative gardening and sharing cultural and indigenous practices. Our work is to dismantle oppressive systems through anti-racism and with a harm reduction, trauma-informed lens.

All of our offerings are on a sliding scale - Drop in for Individual Class - $13-$25 Donation

This sliding scale pricing is intended to work towards economic justice and allow for access for all to join our offerings. It is one of the ways we work to decolonize our offerings and challenge the current structure of the ‘Wellness” and “Yoga” industrial complex.

Unlimited Yoga Punx Monthly Memberships have tiered pricing with equity in mind-

Unlimited Yoga Punx classes per month, on auto-deduct payment. SELECT THE AMOUNT THAT FITS WITH YOUR LEVEL OF RESOURCE.

EFFECTIVE JUNE 2023—-previous memberships are honored until July.

$100 Amplifier Monthly Membership.

$80 Supporter Monthly Membership.

$70 Sustainer Monthly Membership.

$40 QTBIPOC Monthly Membership.

We firmly believe that all should have access, not just those with means. We try and remove barriers to access and are able to offer scholarships as we receive financial support. Currently, scholarship memberships are $40 per month.. We strive to create a radically inclusive space(s) for oppressed people to feel welcome, seen, and to see themselves reflected back within the community.

Apply for scholarship if the above is not accessible for you financially.

Options : $40 per month.

Being honest with yourself and your financial situation when engaging with sliding scale practices grows strong and sustainable communities. It also respects the work of teachers and creators, like us.  We have families to support and rent to pay.  It also helps to ensure we can be of service into the future. Additionally, when we are paid fairly for our labor, this sacred exchange, we are able to expand our offerings which will benefit you directly and our community as a whole.

Need help deciding? We challenge you to think about the community and the collective, versus the individual. Please pay what feels right.

Consider Paying Less If You:

are supporting children or dependents

have significant debt

have medical expenses not covered by insurance

receive public assistance

have immigration-related expenses

are an elder with limited financial support

are an unpaid community organizer

are a returning citizen who has been denied work due to incarceration history

Consider Paying More If You:

own the home you live in

have investments, retirement, or inheritance

travel recreationally

have access to family money and resources in times of need

work part-time by choice

have a relatively high degree of earning power due to level of education, gender and/or racial privilege, class background

Please be mindful that if you purchase a price at the lowest end of the scale when you can truthfully afford the higher ticket prices, you are limiting access to those who truly need the gift of financial flexibility.
